This is an extension of the landscape from Bonnell Blue l which features Bonnell's Tavern, established in 1764 in Clinton NJ. Serving as the home for the historic tavern which ultimately became the voting and meeting place for Hunterdon county, the peaceable and partially barren trees stand as witnesses to the history that took place here. I was attracted to knowing what these trees have seen as they seem to stand guard in their stoic beauty.
